A diocese that covers part of Co Leitrim could be set for amalgamation with another diocese. The Irish Catholic says Ireland's four archbishops are set to meet in Rome to discuss plans to merge more Irish dioceses. It says Kilmore and Clogher could be set for amalgamation.
Kilmore covers several parishes in Co Leitrim, including Ballinamore, Drumreilly and Carrigallen. Máirín Martin is the chairperson of Ballinamore Area Community Council:
