A 20 million euro sports campus based in Carrick-on-Shannon now has an estimated date of completion.
That is according to the the chairperson of the Shannonside Recreational Campus Brendan Lowe.
The campus is planned to contain a huge amount of facilities from a 400 metre running track, to full size 4G and grass pitches and two indoor basketball courts.

Speaking on the 'Let's Talk' road show in Carrick-on-Shannon, he revealed an estimated August 2027 completion date:
