Local Businesses are being encouraged to apply now for a new Covid support scheme sooner rather than later.
The Minister of State for Trade Promotion Robert Troy is hopeful that dozens of firms in the region will be able to access special funds to help them cover additional costs associated with the pandemic. The Longford-Westmeath TD believes that €60m Small Business Assistance Scheme for Covid will help firms who may have missed out on previous government support schemes.
The deadline for applications is April 21st next and the Fianna fail TD says firms shouldn't wait until the last minute to submit their details to their local authority
