Boyle and Sligo credit unions set to merge

Boyle Credit Union is set to amalgamate with Sligo Credit Union going forward.

The proposal will be brought to both credit unions' AGMs on December 16.

If approved, services will remain in Boyle and Sligo and it will be rebranded as "North West Credit Union".

Boyle Credit Union manager Joe Currid says opening hours won't be reduced when the merger happens.
