The R357 between Ballinasloe and Shannonbridge has re-opened folliwng afatal road traffic collision yesterday evening.
A man in his 30s died in the collision which took place at Cloneash about one and a half kilometres from Shannonbridge village just before 7 o' clock.
A forensic examination of the scene was carried out todayh and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and also to any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from along the route at around the time of the collision to come forward.
