The annual Roscommon Community Challenge takes place this weekend with proceeds going towards two local causes.
The popular annual event commenced last night with a 5 and 8K run and walk and continues today with a 70km cycle around Roscommon and East Galway.
This year's chosen charities are Roscommon Special Olympics and Roscommon Sports Park.
Those wishing to take part are encouraged to register online at Eventbrite.ie.
