PODCAST: Carrick school principal says long-term solution needed to overcrowding problems

A Carrick-on-Shannon national school says two new classrooms are not the long-term solution to their overcrowding problems.

It's after funding was announced yesterday for the extension to Scoil Mhuire, which is based in two different locations.

The school's pupil numbers have almost doubled in the past 10 years, with around 500 enrolled now.
