There has been a broad welcome from social and sporting groups to the return of Parkruns to venues across the Shannonside Northern Sound region next month.
It was confirmed over the weekend that the popular outdoor 5km events can resume from September 11th after receiving updated public health advice about people being able to gather outdoors.
A total of 48 events are due to return that weekend, including timed runs in Longford.
