A former Leitrim Councillor and farmer says Larry Murrin must resign as the chair of Bord Bia.
Sinn Féin last week had proposed a motion calling on Murrin to be removed from his position after it emerged that 1% of the beef his company Dawn Farm Foods used came from Brazil.
However, the Government opposed the motion and used its majority to amend it and express support for Mr Murrin in the Dáil.
