Community voices are set at the centre of how safety issues are identified and addressed at the newly established Leitrim Local Community Safety Partnership.
The partnership replaces the joint policing committee and brings together councillors, Gardaí, agencies and community groups.
Its work will focus on challenges such as road safety, anti-social behaviour and crime prevention.
