Funeral of Harry Crowley hears of his love of sport and farming

Large crowds gathered at St Patrick's Church, Clooneycolgan to pay their respects.

The funeral of Harry Crowley has heard of his nurturing qualities, be it in sport or in farming.

Mr Crowley, who was in his 60s passed away in a single-vehicle crash in Donamon on Sunday.

He was part of the victorious Roscommon Connacht minor football championship winning team in 1975 and All-Ireland under 21 championship winning team in 1978.

With Oran, the late Mr Crowley formed part of the management team which led the club to its last Roscommon senior hurling championship in 2016.

Large crowds gathered at St Patrick's Church, Clooneycolgan to pay their respects.

Among the items brought the altar included a sliotar and football, a miniture sheep and a copy of the Farmer's Journal.
