The IFA is urging farmers to attend a Regional Nature Restoration meeting tonight in Carrick-on-Shannon.
The meeting at the Landmark Hotel at 8pm coincides with the launch of the Government's four-week public consultation on the draft Nature Restoration Plan.
Farmers will hear directly from the National Parks and Wildlife Service on the proposals and their potential impact.
Those farming on or near designated lands are particularly encouraged to attend and engage.
