A four point victory over Scotstown set-up a meeting with Dingle on January 18th.
Brigid's advancing to the All-Ireland final on January 18 with victory in Kingspan Breffni.
Following a number of pitch inspections at Kingspan Breffni Park, Rory Beggan who opened the scoring with a 45 after four minutes of play.
Two minutes later Brian Derwin excellently fired the ball to the top corner of the Scotstown net past Rory Beggan.
Ben O’Carroll and Ruaidhri Fallon got further points for Brigid’s before a point and goal from Jack McCarron and Nicholas Sherlock for Scotstown levelled proceedings.
After 11 minutes the sores were tied 1–2 apiece.
Francis Maguire got the first two pointer of the afternoon after 17 minutes putting Scotstown into a two point lead. Bobby Nugent and Ciaran Sugrue hit a point apiece bringing the sides level after 22 minutes.
A strong end to the first-half, saw St Brigid’s take a four point lead to the break. Following points from Paul McGrath along with two efforts from Bobby Nugent (2P and 1P).
At half-time St Brigid’s were 1-10 to 1-6 ahead. Conor Hand opened the scoring in the second-half with a two pointer as St. Brigid’s moved into a six point lead.
Francis McGuire and Shane Carey scored a point each for Scotstown as they reduced the Brigid’s lead to four points after 38 minutes.
Bobby Nugent continued his impressive showing with another two pointer on 48 minutes. Jack McCarron got his second score of the contest two minutes later bringing it back to a five point game.
St. Brigid’s seen out the contest, booking their place in the All Ireland decider where they will face Kerry Champions Dingle.
It finished in Kingspan Breffni Park, St Brigid’s 1-16 to Scotstown 1-12.
