Two points separated the sides at the break with the Orchard County leading by two, 1-11 to 0-12.
Armagh found the back of the Roscommon net twice early in the second half as they led by 11 points after 34 minutes, 3-14 to 0-12.
Roscommon had their first goal on 44 minutes, reacting fastest to a rebound from a penalty.
Their second goal arrived on the 60 minute mark, setting up a tense finale but Armagh struck for their fourth goal just before full-time; sealing their place in the decider where they will face Cavan in GAA HQ.
