Roscommon came back from the dead to rescue a point against Tyrone in Dr. Hyde Park.
The Rossies looked set for their first defeat of the season before Michael Hussey’s equaliser in the fourth minute of injury time.
Roscommon led 1-8 to 10 points at half-time thanks to a Cian Bowes goal nine minutes before half-time. However, Tyrone battled back and led 19-points to 1-13 on 70 minutes.
Indeed, late points from Sean Canning, Cian Murray and Hussey forced a 1-16 to 19-point draw. Roscommon go top of division for three for 24 hours at least with seven points.
Meanwhile, Longford blew Lancashire away in Sports Campus Ireland scoring a 3-18 to 12-point victory.
Goals from Killian Courtney and Cathal Mullane saw Longford lead 1-10 to five points at half-time. Sean Tiernan landed Longford’s third goal 19 minutes into the second-half as Longford won out by 12 points.
The win moves Longford level with Sligo on eight points. However Sligo have a far superior score difference.
Elsewhere, Leitrim all but ended Cavan’s promotion hopes with a three point victory in Heartland Credit Union Páirc Seán.
Leitrim led from start to finish sealing a 20-points to 17 win and their third win of the campaign.
