Jason Sherlock has been confirmed as part of the Roscommon senior management team.
Mark Dowd's senior football management team was ratified at a Roscommon GAA county board meeting on Thursday evening.
Sherlock joins Iain Daly (Michael Glaveys) and John Rogers (Strokestown), on the management ticket.
Former Kilkenny hurling strength and conditioning coach, Mickey Comerford, is also part of the management team.
Sherlock, was a key driver in Dublin’s 1995 All-Ireland championship win and won seven Leinster championships.
“Jayo”, was an integral part of Jim Gavin’s management set-up as Dublin secured a record-breaking five All-Ireland titles in a row.
Since 2020, Sherlock has been was linked with senior team managers jobs at Dublin and Monaghan. However “Jayo” was part of Dessie Dolan’s Westmeath management in 2023 as a performance coach.
Dowd's first competitive game as Roscommon manager will be a FBD League game against Leitrim in on the weekend of January 3rd/4th.
