Galway and Kerry draw in division one

Dublin get first win of the year

Galway came from behind to draw with Kerry in round three of the Allianz League on Saturday evening.

Shane McGrath scored a crucial two-pointer late as it finished Galway 3-14 Kerry 2-17. The Kingdom had a 10 point lead in that game with 11 minutes to go.

Galway manager Padraig Joyce also confirmed Paul Conroy will play football for Galway this season.

The 2024 Footballer of the Year is back in training and set for a 19th year at intercounty level.

Meanwhile, Dublin saw off Monaghan in Croke Park for their first win under Ger Brennan.

Joe Quigley's late goal helped them on their way to a 1-18 to 17 point win over Monaghan at Croke Park.

In division two, a late Jack Flynn two-pointer saw Meath beat Louth, 1-20 to 22 points in Croke Park.

While, Derry got the better of Kilidare 3-15 to 1-18 in St Conleth's Park. In division three, Down scored a three point win over Westmeath 2-15 to 1-15 in Páirc Esler, Newry. Whereas, Laois beat Sligo 18 points to 1-8 in O'Moore Park.

In division four, Waterford fell to their third defeat of the year to Wicklow 14 points to nine in Fraher Field.
