St. Brigid’s have confirmed former Mayo senior selector Damien Mulligan as their new senior manager.
The All-Ireland club runner-up confirmed Mulligan as new boss succeeding Anthony Cunningham. Cunningham stepped down in the wake of their All-Ireland club SFC final defeat to Dingle last month.
Mulligan previously steered Belmullet to the 2021 Mayo SFC final. Mulligan was also part of Kevin McStay’s backroom team when he manged Mayo.
On social media, St. Brigids said; “St Brigid’s GAA Club are delighted to announce that Damien Mulligan will be taking up the role of our senior men’s manager for the year ahead.”
“His backroom team and the management teams of our intermediate and junior teams will be announced in due course.”
