Work is underway to repair the access road and car park at Centre Point Retail park in Roscommon.
Motorists had been expressing concern over large potholes on the access road coming out of the centre as well within the car park itself.
The road is in private ownership and the management company was made aware of the issues and has confirmed to Shannonside FM news that work has begun this morning - it should be complete by the end of the week.

Roscommon councillor Kathleen Shanagher is asking driver to be aware of the works when approaching the area.
