Residents and staff at the first nursing home in Roscommon to receive the Covid vaccine have been sharing their thoughts on the difference it might make to their lives this year.
HSE staff attended the Plunkett Community Nursing Unit in Boyle to deliver vaccines on the 18th of January, with the second round of vaccinations due to be delivered in the coming weeks.
The HSE has now shared a video of messages of hope from residents and staff including from Leitrim native 93-year-old Seamus Beirne and Director of Nursing Dr Mary Butler
