People 85 and older have begun to get their Covid 19 vaccines across the Shannonside Northern Sound region.
The rollout of the programme began this week and it’s estimated to take three weeks to complete the first round of vaccinations for the group.
The Pfizer Biontech solution arrived at the Kelly Henry Medical Centre in Castlerea in Roscommon today for over 150 patients in the older grouping, including a woman who is 105 years old.

Dr Greg Kelly says they are prepared to complete all the vaccinations tomorrow with a team of four doctors, nursing and administration staff.
