Improvement works at a popular west Roscommon amenity are expected to be completed by June. The works at Castlerea Outdoor Swimming Pool got underway earlier this week. €200,000 was provided by Roscommon County Council for the development of the toddler pool and splash area.
It was also announced last December that the pool would open a month earlier, in June of this year. Local Councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice says the new improvements will be a great addition to the pool:
