Investigations are underway after two people were killed in separate road crashes in counties Kildare and Cavan. A woman in her 40s died when the car she was driving hit a van near Enfield yesterday evening. Two children who were in the car with her are in serious but stable conditions at CHI Crumlin.
The man driving the van was also hospitalised but his injuries aren't life threatening. Meanwhile, a motorcyclist in his 40s was pronounced dead after his bike hit a car on the Cavan to Ballinagh road yesterday.
