Tributes are being paid to a Co. Roscommon British Army Officer following a tragic accident at an army training site last weekend. Captain Philip Gilbert Muldowney died following a live firing incident in Northumberland on Sunday.
The 25 year old grew up in the Ballinameen area of Co. Roscommon. Local Councillor Valerie Byrne says her thoughts are with the Muldowney family:
