The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 63 additional deaths related to COVID-19.
5 of these deaths happened in November 2020, 1 of these deaths took place in December 2020, and the remaining 56 occurred in January 2021.
As of midnight, Tuesday 12th January, the HPSC has been notified of 3,569 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

As of 2pm today, 1,770 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 172 are in ICU.
There have been another 133 more people hospitalised in the past 24 hours.
A total of 27 new cases have been reported for Roscommon today, with 28 in Longford and fewer than 5 in Leitrim.
