Three men have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Dublin.
A 42 year old Iranian man was shot dead in the front garden of a house in Coolock in May 2019.
On the 28th of May 2019, suspected hitman Hamid Sanambar was standing in the driveway of a house on Kilbarron avenue, when he was shot a number of times.
The Iranian, who was linked to various Dublin criminal gangs, had previously lived in Longford where he was linked to several criminal gangs operating in the midland region.
He had an address in Dublin at the time of his death.
Three men wearing balaclavas were seen at the scene and left in a silver Toyota Avensis, which was found abandoned and on fire in another area of Coolock later that afternoon.
Gardai arrested three men, all aged in their 20s, in North Co. Dublin this morning.
They're currently being questioned at a number of Dublin Garda Stations
