Three composers have been awarded the King's House Piano Commission Award by Roscommon County Council.

Each composer will receive 2,500 euro, together with additional supports, to write a 6 minute piano solo based on a literary text with a local theme.

Bianca Gannon's piece, Loch Cé, is based around the section on Lough Key in Lady Gregory's book "Gods and fighting men" where she used to holiday as a child.
