A teenage boy has died after being hit by a truck in Cork city this afternoon.
It happened on Sheares Street at around 3:30pm.
He was taken to the Mercy Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.
It's the second road fatality today.
A man in his 40s was killed in a single car crash on the N76 at Callan Co. Kilkenny this morning.
