Severe frost and wintry showers to hit region from tomorrow

Temperatures will plummet in the next couple of days as the country is gripped by a cold spell.

Met Eireann is predicting severe frosts and wintry showers.

It has issued a weather advisory from 4pm tomorrow until Friday night.
