Motorists are being warned of dangerous conditions on roads in the region after overnight frosts this week.
Sub-zero temperatures led to several minor accidents in Roscommon this morning, including a gritter slipping off the road between Ballaghaderreen and Loughglynn, and an articulated lorry which went off the road between Tulsk and Castlerea.
Other minor accidents were also reported in different areas, but it's understood no one was injured in the incidents.
With more freezing temperatures set for tonight drivers are being asked to be aware that conditions can change within hours of roads being gritted especially in the early morning when travel can be particularly dangerous with a high volume of traffic on the roads.
