A local TD has raised concerns about the lack of 24/7 paramedic cover in Roscommon in the Dáil this week. Sinn Féin's Claire Kerrane says the government has broken its promise to secure a functioning ambulance service in the county.
She also says it's her seventh time to raise the issue in the Dáil. Deputy Kerrane believes the rapid response vehicle which was introduced following the closure of the A&E in Roscommon, is being quietly downgraded:
