Sun-worshippers have been heading to beauty spots in the region today - as temperatures hit 30C in Mount Dillon in Co Roscommon.
Hundreds of people are at the Doon Shore on Lough Key in Boyle, while other waterways are also busy with people swimming.
People vulnerable in the hot weather should stay in shade, practice sun safety and avoid mid-day heat.
