The renowned Viewmount House guest and restaurant business in Longford town is being put up for sale with an asking price of €1.1 million euros.
The historic country home was bought by Longford based accountant James Kearney and his wife Beryl in 1989 and an extensive refurbishment was carried out over the following 10 years.
It's award winning restaurant first opened its doors in 2008 and drew food lovers from around the country on a regular basis.
The owners say the decision to sell the property has nothing to do with the Covid pandemic but rather that they want to retire after spending the last three decades on the project.
