Public encouraged to support local outdoor amenities in Roscommon

Twenty two walking trails and two cycleways are detailed in the newest edition of the Roscommon Walks booklet. The trails range from the National Famine

Twenty two walking trails and two cycleways are detailed in the newest edition of the Roscommon Walks booklet.

The trails range from the National Famine Way leaving Strokestown to Lake O'Flynn bogs in west Roscommon to Derryvunny in Arigna.

The cycleways take people through the Suck Valley and also around the estate at Lough Key Forest Park.

Tourism Officer Eimear Dowd says the area is ideal to visit given social distancing requirements, she hopes that people support local businesses in the area when visiting.
