The British King is coming to Ireland next year, in his first visit to the Republic since ascending to the throne.

A visit by King Charles would provide a major boost for tourism in the Shannonside region.
That's according a Boyle resident, who would like to see the Monarch visit County Roscommon.
The British King is coming to Ireland next year, in his first visit to the Republic since ascending to the throne.

Longford County Council passed a motion by Cllr Paul Ross inviting him to the county - but six councillors voted against it.
