A Roscommon Councillor believes counties in the Shannonside region should be twinned with other cities and countries around the world.
Former Vice-Chair of the Tucson/Roscommon Twinning Committee Dan Cavanagh visited the county the week to reflect on the past arrangement.
Later this year Roscommon will also be paired with Slovenia for the EU Presidency term.
