A Leitrim Councillor is calling on people to engage again with the upcoming public consultation on the N4 Dromod to Carrick on Shannon project.
Independent Cllr Enda Stenson says even though it might be the third time that this stage of the process has taken place, people need to make the effort to submit their views and comments again as this is a brand new project and previous submissions won't count.
The new round of public consultation takes place from October 4th.
Arup Consultants on behalf of Leitrim County Council are hoping to gather as much information as possible to identify constraints that may affect the project, especially in light of new legislation enacted since the last time it was worked on.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound Cllr Stenson says anyone with property in the area or who is aware of an issue that should be considered needs to attend the presentation days when they come up.
