Power fault at water plant leaves Longford householders without supply

Dozens of homes in Longford are without water this morning after a fault at local water treatment plant.

Irish Water has confirmed that customers supplied by Lough Forbes water treatment plant are experiencing disruption due to an electrical fault.

Customers in  Edgeworthstown; Newtownforbes; Longford Town; Drumlish; Ballinalee; Clondra and all surrounding areas in between are warned to expect issues until repairs are carried out.
