According to the planning application, the full base to blade tip height of the turbines would be 160 metres.

Plans have been lodged with Roscommon County Council for the construction of 2 wind turbines in the North of the County.

The development would consist of 2 turbines with a maximum blade tip height of 160m, associated foundations and crane hardstands at several townlands near Boyle.

Plans for the site would also see over a kilometre of new internal site service roads, 1.5 km of underground electrical cabling, 3.75 km of overground cabling and associated tree felling across the work areas.
