Plans for Co Roscommon's first ever Olympics-sized athletics track have been given the go-ahead. It will involve an eight-lane running track, with floodlights, in Lisnamult in Roscommon town.
Lisnamult Community Enterprise lodged the plans with the council, and Fianna Fáil councillor Paschal Fitzmaurice says they've been approved. He welcomes the news:
