Planning lodged for improvement works at TUS Athlone

TUS has lodged planning permission for works at their Athlone Campus. The University is seeking the works on the McCarrick Building on the Dublin Road. Plans consist of the reconfiguration of existing classrooms and staff office and the provision of a new electrical workshop and PLC and Machine Lab.

The works also include alterations to the existing elevations and all ancillary site works on the campus. The University caters for over 6,000 students on the Athlone Campus, with the majority returning on site next week.
