There is just a few days left for people in the Shannonside Northern sound region to apply to become Covid-19 "community swabbers"
The HSE is advertising positions at testing centres in the region, as the health body looks to increase the number of tests being carried out across the country.
Roles are based in all five counties in the region, even though there are no test centres operational in Leitrim or Longford at present.

The job description reveals that swabbing is expected to take place in a range of settings, including but not limited to Community Testing Centres, Home-Based Testing as well as Bulk/Mass Testing Residential Care Facilities
The deadline for interested parties to apply for the job is the 14th of September.
