Almost €11.4 million in funding has been announced for the Shannonside Northern Sound region this morning.
The LEADER funding, announced by local Minister Heather Humphreys, will go towards, locally-led projects in rural areas. €65 million in funding has been announced for communities across the country.
Locally, Roscommon is receiving the most at €2.6 million, followed by Cavan at €2.5 million. Longford and Monaghan are both receiving €2.4 million, while Leitrim is set to receive €1.7 million.
