Over 50 patients waiting at local hospitals

There are over 50 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals servicing the Shannonside region this morning.

According to the INMO's latest trolley watch report, 49 patients are waiting at Sligo University Hospital.

At the the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, 3patients are waiting.

University Hospital Limerick remains the country's most overcrowded hospital with 88 patients.
