Over 30 patients for a bed waiting at local hospitals

There were over 30 patients waiting for a bed at hospitals serving the Shannonside region this morning.

That's according to the INMO's latest trolley watch report.

31 patients were waiting at Sligo University Hospital, 16 in emergency department and 15 on wards elsewhere.

Seperately, 4 were waiting at the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar.
