A new fire training centre has opened at Ireland West Airport.
The new centre will provide the airport’s fire service with a dedicated on-site training environment, so firefighters can carry out practical aircraft rescue and firefighting exercises.
It was delivered with more than €2.3 million in Exchequer funding through the Government’s Regional Airports Programme.
