The popular Lough Rynn Castle in Leitrim held its first wedding under the new Covid-19 regulations at the premises last week, 26 weeks after the last wedding at the hotel.
The hotel has hosted high profile weddings, including that of Brian O' Driscoll and Amy Huberman since its opening in 2006 but weddings that will go ahead there this year will be much quieter affairs.
Sales and Events Manager Ruth Conlon says couples have been coming to terms with the new normal and while some have delayed their big day by up to a year, others have chosen to go ahead.

She says they currently have a few weddings booked in every moth until the end of the year and people are taking a variety of approaches as to what they want to do.
