Children finishing 6th class in the Shannonside region don't have the option to go to a local Gaelscoil for their second level education. Department of Education figures released to TD Barry Ward - and seen by the Irish Examiner - show Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford are among 10 counties that don't offer a secondary school through Irish.
