The Minister for Rural and Community Development is in Co. Roscommon today.
Minister Dara Calleary is set to visit both Castlerea and Ballaghaderreen over the course of the evening.
The Fianna Fáil representative will begin his visit at Castlerea Swimming Pool.
The popular amenity, which saw 20,000 visitors last year opens today for the summer season.
It opens five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday and will remain open until the end of August.
Minister Calleary will then visit The Hub in the town, where a new lift was recently installed.
Following this, he will officially open Ballaghaderreen Library.
The library opened late last year following the completion of upgrade works at Dillon House, which had been closed since 2020.
The refurbished library now includes large seating areas for children and teenagers, as well as study and reading spaces and a community meeting room.
