Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney begins an official two day visit to Ireland this morning.
He will be in Dublin today, while tomorrow he will visit Co. Mayo.
The Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is expected to arrive at Dublin Airport between 9 and 10 o’clock this morning.
After meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday, the Canadian Prime Minister flies from Paris to Dublin this morning.
His visit will begin at Government Buildings, where he will meet the Taoiseach, he will then deliver a speech at Trinity College Dublin.
This evening, a reception in his honour will be held at Dublin Castle.
Tomorrow, Mr Carney will travel to Co Mayo, where his grandparents were born. They emigrated from Mayo to Quebec in 1925.
